Miss Piggy - Special Needs (blindness) Riley Fuzzel Foster Home MS

Miss Piggy suffered head trauma, most likely hit by a car, and was taken to a local shelter. One of our volunteers was there and fell in love with her but she needed immediate medical attention. The head trauma caused blindness in one eye and predicted future blindness in the other. She will need a safe and secure home where she can learn the home layout and navigate with ease. If children or other pets are in the home, they would need to be gentle and easy-going to keep Miss Piggy's stress level down. A quiet home would be ideal. Miss Piggy is gentle, loving and very brave. She had endured so much but remains loving and loyal. No other special care needed other than keeping her environment stable and easy to navigate. She will need to know where her litterbox and food are located and places for her to lounge and relax. Of course her favorite place will be in your lap or next to you as you watch your favorite TV series. The key to her happiness will be plenty of love and a secure environment without abrupt changes or surprises. We are happy to provide ongoing vet care for her disability once she is in her new home. Miss Piggy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and negative for FIV/FLV. Please consider adopting a disabled pet. There is nothing like the love of an animal that knows he/she has been rescued by you and can thank you with kindness and love for many years.
