My Story

Gandi said, “Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong”.

Little Miss Periwinkle is strong indeed, as she works steadfastly on forgiving humans for her neglectful kittenhood. Although Miss Periwinkle is very timid, she has learned to trust her foster mom, who has been working with her for two months now. She loves and trusts her, but is unsure of new people. Still, she is willing to learn to love you if you will give her lots of love and plenty of time to adjust to her new home. Miss Periwinkle is only 8 months old, so is still very open to bonding with a new person who gains her trust. She is very pretty, sleek, and petite.

Her foster mum says that Miss Periwinkle has plenty of personality. She is a lovely companion, but doesn't need to be constantly coddled. She even tries to have a conversation with her foster mum, and at dinner time, if her foster mum doesn't come to the kitchen in a timely manner, Miss Periwinkle escorts her. Miss Periwinkle even keeps her foster mum company in the morning when she's getting ready for work.

As lovely as her foster home is, Miss Periwinkle cannot stay there. With a never-ending stream of cats and kittens that need this foster mums loving care to give them a cage break, it's time for Miss Periwinkle to go back to the shelter, to be put on the adoption floor in the hopes of meeting her forever family. But her foster mom has seen her come so far emotionally, and would love Miss Periwinkle to be adopted from her home so that she doesn't have to go into a cage, and be subjected to fear again. She would be happiest in a home with other cats, but no dogs please. Following other well-adjusted cats' leads has been an important part of her learning to trust people. She needs to live with adults or children that are mature enough to put her need to gain trust above their desires. If you can give her the forever home that she needs, and you think a forgiving heart like hers is worth please .
