My Story

Meet Mimi, a curious and affectionate 6-year-old brown and white shorthaired tabby cat with a zest for life. Mimi's adventurous spirit leads her to explore every nook and cranny of her surroundings, eager to discover new sights and scents. While she may be initially reserved, Mimi's loving nature shines through once she feels comfortable in your presence. She delights in giving affection, showering her chosen companions with gentle head bumps and soft purrs of contentment. With patience and understanding, Mimi is sure to become a devoted and cherished member of any family, bringing joy and companionship to their lives with her playful antics and loving heart. She has FIV, which means she has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats. If you are interested in adopting her, call the APL at 217-544-7387 or fill out an application at apl-shelter.org!
