Millie - Front Paw Declawed

Millie. Date of Birth: September 7, 2012. I'm an independent girl who knows what she wants, and if you're the right person, what I want is to be petted and held. I was adopted as a young kitten by a couple who, three years later, had a baby and decided to declaw me. Not a good idea (declawing never is); I went from a sweetheart to an agitated, unhappy feline. So they dumped me at a feed store. Luckily, a representative of Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue found me there, and then SAPCR had the patience to let me relearn how to be a caring kitty. Not that I'm a pushover. I have personality to spare, and the confidence to know it. I don't much care for other animals – I'd do best as a solo cat – but I really like people. I have to get to know them first, of course, to make sure they're worth my time. But if they are, they get something special – me.
