Mikey is 6 yrs old. He was rescued, taken to ER and was treated there for 2 weeks. He only weighed 7 pounds and he is a 12 pound cat. After he was treated for malnutrition he was taken to a county shelter. They scanned him and found out the owner didn’t want him back. They determined he had traveled 5 miles. We don’t know how long he was out there and what he encountered during that time. The poor guy was traumatized.
So VSAP took him in. He would get over stimulated when you pet him and when you would leave the room he would get
upset. Loud noises also scared him.
He has been on meds for his anxiety and it’s really helped him. He will have to continue his meds.
He has gained all his weight back, loves to play with foil balls and he will bring them back to you. He also loves his wand toys.
Please consider giving Mikey a forever home. He truly deserves a loving home that will have patience and love.
