Midnight (FKA Hognose)

Meet Midnight, a dashing male feline companion! Midnight just turned 3 years old. He was brought to the shelter due to overgrooming which is now under control. Midnight was diagnosed with a dust allergy and he has recently started allergy treatments which entail subcutaneous injections once per week at home. He also takes a daily pill which he enthusiastically eats in a pill pocket. He is a friendly guy who enjoys attention and affection on his terms. While Midnight isn't known for being a lap cat, he adores hanging out with his people. Once he gets to know you, doesn't mind being picked up and carried around and will give kisses. Whether he's lounging nearby during work hours or curling up on the couch for movie nights, he relishes being in the company of his beloved humans, offering companionship and warmth in his own unique way. He would love nothing more than to be your companion while you work. His ultimate favorite toys are beaded hair ties - he will entertain himself with these every day and does not tire of them. He thrives with a couple of play sessions per day. Although he has not lived with other animals in his previous home, he has shown interest in his foster mom's pets. Midnight takes a while to settle into new situations, so a quiet place to decompress in his new home will be essential. His adopter will need patience and understanding in his early days with them, but will be rewarded with a wonderful companion! He has lived with young children and did well with them, but would swat occasionally, so older children may be a better fit.
