My Story

I am Mickey, and this is my sister, Minnie. We are Manx kittens. We’re special with our cute little bobbed tails and plush coats. This is our story. We were left in a carrier in front of a vet’s office, hoping someone would take us in. We were lucky to find a temporary home. A few days later, we both had surgery- a spay and neuter. We didn’t know what was happening to us! Then we went to a foster home, that’s where we are now. At first, we were really shy and a bit scared. My sister was more afraid than I was. Our new foster mom gave us a bedroom to share. We learned that’s where our litter box was (we always use the litter box). The first night, we stayed under the bed, because we were unsure of what this new place was about. Our foster mom brought us some toys and food. I ate a lot! I’m not a picky eater, but my sister was in the beginning. She didn’t want to eat much at all. One day, our foster mom gave us some canned ocean fish kitten food. What a great day, because my sister began eating more and more! I quickly learned it was fun playing with my foster mom; she throws balls, and I run after them. If I’m hiding, all my foster mom has to do is shake a ball with a bell in it, and I come running! She’ll also throw toys in our kitty cube and I dive in to get them! I LOVE to play, and my sister likes to watch us. She’s still a little shy about playing. She does like to explore, but I’m the athlete in our family. She’s my cheerleader! In the beginning, we didn’t purr very much, but now I purr ALL the time. Whenever a person walks into the room, I turn my purrrr on! My sister likes to be stroked-that’s when she purrs the most. We’re very good, fun-loving kittens, no trouble at all! We’re hoping to get a forever home. We even have our treat bag packed and ready to go home today! We have our carrier too. All we need now is someone to keep us safe and love us! Our foster mom says our love is contagious!

They are updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. The adoption fee is $85
