*Willow does have a small umbilical hernia, two of HART's vets who did her spay felt it was a closed hernia and that it would cause more damage/a longer recovery to make the spay incision bigger to get to the hernia at this time. They saw the hernia during the spay and chose not to do anything because they thought it would cause more harm than good and think it is so small it will go away on its own, however it could become an issue at some point. Adopters should be aware that they may need to consult with their personal vet regarding the hernia.
