Oh, Merlyn. She is quite like her namesake. Beautiful, kind, but protects herself until you show her you mean her no harm. Merlyn had a hard start in life. We got her when she was just 4 months old. She was abandoned and had been neglected and beaten. But with time, patience, and most of all, love. She has become a snuggly, playful, and darling little girl. But one must remember that great friendship starts with patience and kindness. Merlyn needs between 2 days and 1 week to get used to her new surroundings. And new people. But once she knows you, her heart is yours. She absolutely LOVES being brushed. It is literally her favorite thing. We all actually bonded with her through brushing. She also loves feather tail mice, crinkle balls, and all stick toys. She also LOVES sleeping in boxes. And did my mention? She is BEAUTIFUL! Lord, she can't take a bad photo even if she tried. She is now 7 months old and ready for her forever home. Oh, she also loves other cats but is fearful of dogs.
