Melinda (aka “Mama”!) - Spayed Female. Approximate DOB is 5/30/2021. Melinda is current on her vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative. Melinda is a SH White and Brown Tabby. She came to LAS as part of a project in a local community with her 5 kittens plus 3 other kittens that she was raising. She is a very pretty girl - who was a really good Mom to so many! Melinda is in a Foster home. She likes her attention! Her foster Mom writes: Melinda is a very sweet, and affectionate gal, but tends to be a bit on the shy side until she feels safe. She is playful, and gets along well with other cats. Melinda is usually seen spending most of her time with her 10 month old kitten Madelyn. Melinda will raise up on her hind legs to head butt your hand for a pet. She loves the attention from her humans! Melinda is not a huge fan of being picked up and held, but she is so sweet. She has a tendency to be quite vocal at times, especially when she is carrying a toy around in her mouth. She would sure love to have her very own home with Madelyn and a lot of love! She will need time to adjust to a new home from her foster home. Best with no small children. Proper introductions to a new home and family.
