Meatball

Meatball and his brother, Garfield came to Good Mews when their guardian could no longer care for them. This handsome guy wasnt with us long until he found a loving home. Unfortunately, his adopter developed health issues due to having a cat in the home and sadly had to return him. Meatball is a quiet cat and doesnt show really well at the shelter. But dont let his shy personality fool you. Once he got to his new home, it only took him a couple days to really show his true personality. He will still acts shy at first but is comfortable walking around the house and getting to know his new human. Once he feels safe and secure, he is Mr. Lovebug! He likes to rub against his humnans legs, asking for attention. He enjoys being brushed, getting belly rubs and cuddling on the couch, curled up against his favorite human. He also enjoys sleeping at night in the humans bed, so he wants a home where his family will let him sleep with them. He loved sitting on the tall cat condo, watching the wildlife outside or sitting on his blanket, making biscuits. He is an active guy that likes to run around the house and playing with his favorite toy, a peacock feather. He is a big cat so he will need a family willing to work on a healthy meal plan for him and help him lose weight. And also spend time playing with him so he gets plenty of exercise. He would probably enjoy living with calm children. He would do fine as a single cat as long as his family spends a lot of time with him and he would also do well with another laid-back kitty. His brother is in his forever home, so he wouldnt mind having another cat brother or sister to pal around with.
