My Story

Meet Meat! This stunning tripod boy is ready to find the home of his dreams! Meat's journey began with a large trap/neuter/return project, where he was one of over 100 cats trapped and fixed from one colony. Meat was a special case; he was limping and not putting weight on a leg. It turned out he had been shot, and his leg needed to be amputated. But here's where the happy part begins! Meat went to our director's home to recover and it became clear he didn't mind indoor life at all. Meat gets along great with all the cats and dogs in the home. However, young, loud children can sometimes stress him out, so we recommend a home without little children. Meat appreciates affection on his terms. He loves head rubs and back scratches but when he's had enough, he'll let you know with a little smack or nip-another reason for no little children! He can be picked up but prefers not to be carried around. Despite losing a leg, Meat doesn't let it slow him down. He hops up on the dog beds to claim them, and the dogs let him! Meat's perfect home would be on the quiet side. Other cats or dogs would be a bonus, but not required. Meat loves his canned food and meows like a little girl kitten for it-it's quite adorable! Who doesn't need a tripod in their home? Approximate DOB: 2022 Foster Home Location: Whitewater If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff Please allow several days for us to process your application. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted.
