My Story

Meet Maze Runner, a spirited two-year-old brown tabby with a heart full of love and an adventurous spirit. Maze Runner thrives on human affection, always eager for a gentle pet or a cozy lap to curl up in. His friendly nature extends to other feline companions as well, provided they share his FeLV positive status. Maze Runner's playful and affectionate personality makes him an ideal companion for a household looking to share their love with a special, resilient cat. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a sweet and sociable feline friend, Maze Runner is the perfect match for you. He has feline leukemia, which means he has a shorter life expectancy than most cats. He is available for our permanent foster program, where you provide the home and the love, and APL provides his medical care. If you are interested in adopting or meeting him, fill out an application at apl-shelter.org (for adopting) or come visit in-person at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. The APL is open every day from noon to 5 pm.
