Meet Maya!
Maya might be a Bengal mix. Look at her eyes and her spots! She could also be a spotted tabby. This little one is only 6lbs and super sweet. Remarkably, she was found as a stray, and she was pregnant :-(
She’s so happy to be safe now. She just needs a safe forever home :-)
**Important: Indigo Rescue adopts cats to indoor-only homes or homes with catios. We do this for the safety and longevity of the cats and we hope that our community will learn from our example. Outdoor cats or indoor/outdoor cats fall victim to many predators, including coyotes, eagles, hawks, owls, and even loose neighborhood dogs. They can be hit by cars, poisoned, or trapped and taken away by people who don’t like cats trespassing on their property. They can also spread diseases such as feline leukemia and FIV, neither of which are treatable. Cats live a very long, enriched life with a companion kitty as a playmate, a few toys and a cat tree. Please consider re-thinking your cats lives. Thank you!!
**Please note: Indigo rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon. The first part of our process is to have you complete our online adoption application. This helps us make compatible matches. You can find the application on our Indigorescue.org website under the adoption tab. We’ll get back to you from there to hopefully arrange a meet for you.
