Maximus was found at 4 weeks old and had lived his 14 years with the same owner until he passed away. Maximus is sweet and gentle with good manners! He's a mature man with a quiet and shy nature and is looking for a quiet, calm home environment to relax and sleep in between his three meals a day . Maximus is an independent cat but he does enjoy being doted on with scratches to his head, neck, and jaw and may come up for the occasional snuggle on your lap. Maximus traveled by car all over various states with his previous owner. As a result he does very well in the car and enjoys car rides. Maximus lived with 2 other house mates - Petey and Slim. He would love to be adopted with them but would be okay on his own. Maximus needs CD dry food otherwise he will develop crystals in his urine. This is very common in older male cats but easily managed with the special diet. If you are looking for a companion to enjoy life's quiet moments with - this handsome gentlemen is your guy.
