Max

Max is just sitting here, dreaming of being back in a good home where he can lounge out on the couch or gaze out the window at the birds flying by. He had that all his life but at 14 1/2 years old, Max finds his world turned upside down. Sadly, his owner had a serious medical event that led to them being unable to care for Max any longer. Max is definitely down and out about it, but it's obvious that he's putting on a brave face whenever you go to visit him. He enjoys getting your attention and never says no to a some pets, a little catnip, and a snack or two. Max is on a specific diet that keeps him healthy but it's no more expensive than any good cat food. Max is a big guy of about 17 lbs. and he's laid-back and lazy, and his favorite pastime seems to be napping. Max would love a commotion-free home where he can kick back and relax. He'd likely be fine with another cat that doesn't want to play or pal around all day. He would love you forever if you give him a chance.
