My Story

Note: Note: This is a courtesy post on behalf of another adoption entity. If you are interested in Maverick, we will put you in contact with the group who is adopting him out. Thank you! Maverick 4.5 year old Neutered male Combo negative Microchipped Vaccinated 11/16/23 (booster 2/4/24) Maverick, with his unique patchwork of brown markings on white fur, embodies both resilience and sweetness. Found wandering the streets, this striking cat has journeyed from distrust to tentative affection, showing a quiet bravery that is truly inspiring. Maverick's gentle nature shines through in his interactions with other cats, and while he may not seek out a lap to curl up in, he finds immense comfort in gentle pets and quiet companionship. His independent spirit and endearing sweetness make him a perfect match for a home that appreciates the beauty of a cat who cherishes connection in his own subtle way.: -------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
