MATTEO N. - VERY GENTLE BOY

If you couldn't tell from his photos, MATTEO is an adorably sweet and gentle-loving boy! MATTEO arrived to us recently and is such a quiet boy. He was abandoned and living on the street under cars. MATTEO immediately took to the other cats, but was nervous to interact with people. However, he has really come out of his shell! He likes to socialize and play with other cats as well as bravely ask for pets from people. He is the most gentle love bug ever! MATTEO is as perfect as can be, even with his positive test for FIV/FeLV. FIV basically means that his immune system is not as strong as other cats. Cats with FIV can and DO live healthy and long lives! No medication required. Feline leukemia is a cats-only virus. FeLV+ cats can live with other FeLV+ cats or can be solo cats. MATTEO would be thrilled to be in a either a single cat home or one with other + cats! We will be happy to answer all your questions about feline leukemia—these cats can still live long and happy lives with your help! We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee.
