Mateo came to a high kill NC shelter as a tiny baby with his Mom, Mia. He was 1 of 4 kittens but sadly two of his siblings didn't make it due to the harsh conditions of a shelter life. Mateo is a medium haired orange kitten and is a little calmer than his sister Madelina, although he is still a kitten and plays like a kitten. He will wrestle with his sister and get into things with her, but she is certainly the leader and he the follower. He also loves to be held and is fostered with children and other animals. Mateo must either be adopted with his sister, Madelina, his Mom Mia or into a home that already has a young cat residing there. He will not be adopted as a single kitten.
