Marty

Meet Marty! Marty was born in January of 2024. He is a white and black bicolor kitten with a cap and saddle pattern. He was left in a dog crate at a local park with his mom, two siblings and another cat who we believe may be his auntie. Soon after being rescued Marty and his siblings developed an upper respiratory infection that was treated. While they were sick a respiratory panel was done, and the results indicated they had FHV-1 (feline herpes virus). This is very common in kittens with weak immune systems. The symptoms are a runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing (a cold). He and his siblings received anti-viral meds and their symptoms went away. As he grows older, his immune system will get stronger. He is currently symptom free. Marty is a playful, curious, energetic boy. He and his sibling Moe love to do parkour and chase each other around. Marty is friendly with the fosters dog and with proper introduction, Marty would do well with a small cat friendly dog. Marty is vaccinated, neutered, combo tested negative, rabies and microchipped.
