Marshall Mather FIV+ (8831)

Marshall Mather is no Slim Shady. He's a sweet kitty who was likely dumped and left to fend for himself. It may take you some time to earn his trust, but once you do, he'll be a friend for life. Marshall is a very sweet, playful, and vocal cat. His favorite toys are mice. With a bit of training, he could probably be taught to fetch. Currently he brings the mice back about a quarter of the time. He will run across the room and jump over obstacles to get to a mouse when it's thrown. He loves attention and will make sure he gets it. Marshall will yell at you until you acknowledge him every time you enter the room he's in. If Marshall wants pets he will flop onto his side in front of your feet. He will roll around on the ground and drag himself along the carpet in front of you until you pet him. He loves when people lay on the floor with him. Marshall favorite pet is chin scratches, but he'll accept any pet. Sometimes when you pet his belly he'll enter play mode and try to grab your hand. Marshall will let you pick him up and hug him for about 2 minutes but then he wants down. Marshall just really likes flopping around on the floor like a silly fish. Marshall's favorite time to snuggle is in the morning when he hears your alarm go off. He will jump onto your bed and sit on your pillow next to your head. He like to sleep near the foot of the bed at night. Marshall has been in foster care for 2.5 months. His foster family loves him very much and know that he's ready to find his forever family. This kitty has tested positive for FIV. FIV kitties can live normal happy lives, but may require increased future vet care.
