Meet Marmalade!
Marmalade came to AWS from Jefferson County Animal Control. She was one of many cats taken from a hoarding house. We took her in the hopes of finding her a new, loving home!
It was initially believed that Marmalade was pregnant, however upon having her examined by the vet, the vet did not believe she was. We took her in to have her spayed and it was discovered that the poor girl had pyometra. They said it was a good thing we got her in when we did or the end result wouldn't have been goo for Miss. Marmalade.
She is estimate to be about 2 years old. She is a CHONKY girl, weighing in at about 15 pounds. We are working on helping her slim down some.
Marmalade tolerates cats and calm dogs, however she prefers to be with people.
She is spayed and vaccinated! She will be microchipped prior to adoption!
