Mariposita

Hey, would’ya look at that cool cat?! Mariposita is a 2-year-old hopelessly handsome dude who is mostly white with a few random patches, punctuated by an adorable pink nose and one ear that isn’t quite as triangular as the other. Gotta just love that face! Mariposita, or Maripo for short, is litter-pan trained, very tidy, and practices self-grooming. He’s got a hearty appetite, accepting both dry and wet food options, and loves churu treats and other crunchy delights. Picky, he’s not! Maripo is still a bit shy, but he’s slowly starting to come around. He is too timid to ask for love and affection, but if you approach him, he soaks it up like a sponge. He likes head and butt scratches, full body massages, ear and chin rubs, and head petting. He purrs like an engine as soon as he feels your gentle touch, and will happily sit in your lap if invited to do so. You can see he has a heart of gold; he just needs someone to show him the way. While not specifically dog or kid-tested, Maripo enjoys humans, ignores other cats, and can seemingly co-exist with anyone. Mellow and easy-going, this fella is a peace-loving pussycat whose aim is to avoid drama. All he wants is a safe place to call home, where he can be loved, and love in return.
