Mariposa

Mar (short for Mariposa) is a curious kitten, who explores the world wide-eyed and with the cutest quizzical head tilt. Although shy like her sister CiCi, she is becoming more and more confident in her space. She loves pets and especially butt scratches, and likes to stretch out loooooooooong to make sure you have unfettered access to scratch her belly. Mar loves churu treats, and playing with anything that has feathers. She prefers to do other things over being held or sitting on laps, but loves to come out for pets and is demanding of attention. Mar will likely need some time to get acclimated to a new space and new people, but her confidence will continue to bloom with a patient adopter. She would love to be adopted with her sister CiCi, or to a home with another young cat she can be friends with. Mar is likely to do well in a home with older, cat-savvy and patient kiddos, but very young or loud kids might be too much for her. Mar is about 4.5 months old.
