Marilyn

Audrey (tabby) and Marilyn (black and white) have quite the sad story after their owner passed away and they were just left in the apartment for who knows how long! It has taken some time to gain their trust as they were devastated for weeks when they first arrived. We are looking for a quiet home and an understanding family to allow them the weeks or months that it will take for them to not be scared and hiding all the time. Just like human sisters, these two can be found cuddling one minute and the next smacking each other around! Audrey was the first to warm up to us and allow pets when she asks for them; she says “no thank you” to being picked up though! Marilyn is still very timid and is often found hiding at the back of the cage. She will come and ask for attention and is less dramatic about being picked up. We picture a home for these girls as somewhere quiet with a family who likes to sit and read or do puzzles. All we want is a place for these girls to feel safe and loved, even if it means taking time to let them settle in!
