Hello my name is Maria! I am sweet and beautiful, my rescue doesn't know why I am still here on Petfinder! I was rescued from the NYC shelter when my owners no longer could care for me. I was very young and frightened. I have been waiting now 4 years to find my new family. Tabby cats are so common its very hard for me to "stand out" from all the others. But I am special, we are all special! I am friendly with new people and love to be brushed and played with. I sit in laps and keep my humans company. I do best with a human who has experience with cats in a home without other pets! Small children will overwhelm me so my new home should only have children who have kids over 13 years old. I would love to find a new family who will love me for the rest of my life. I am healthy, vaccinated, spayed and ready for adoption.
