Maple is the sweetest most docile and loving cat. She was living outside for awhile after her owners abandoned her after a move. Neighbors were kind enough to feed her, but no one has been willing to give her the home she so desperately misses.
She would make the perfect family cat. She is great with kids of all ages and other cats.
Maple is feline immunodeficiency positive (FIV+) but as gentle as she is, transmission to other cats would be highly unlikely.
CFA note: FIV is not contagious to humans or dogs. Recent studies show FIV is contagious to other cats only through a deep bite wound. Maple is a docile, non-aggressive cat. She lives happily among the other residents of CFA, sharing the same food and water bowls, and litter boxes.
