Hi…my name is Mani. Maybe my name is a diminutive for Manx – ‘cause that’s what I am – a handsome, 5½-year-old, black and white Manx guy. I am pretty confused right now because I’ve been living with my mom, a senior citizen, and three female felines all my life until recently when her health issues made it necessary to find us new homes. My mom said that I love to play with catnip toys, and even though I’m pretty independent, I can be very affectionate and like to snuggle. Typical of cats, I’m always very curious, and I also love to play with dripping water and to smell the fresh air through a screened window or door. Much of the time, though, I am very laid back and enjoy sleeping (there’s a surprise!), and just want to be around you. My mom thinks that I’d be really happy in a quiet home as an “only child,” so if that’s what you have and are looking for, we’re both on the same track!
