Maria Montessori is a young adult mother of five who has worked hard to raise her beautiful babies, but now she's ready to be YOUR baby. She's been loving life indoors, (especially all the treats and catnip!) but will still need you to go a little slow with her as she builds her confidence and lets her street-smart guard down. She's very affectionate with people and her babies, but would need a slow introduction if adopted into a home with another resident cat.
Maria and her babies came from the streets of South Gate, where some kind folks were feeding them but couldn't bring them inside because they were allergic. The whole kitty family had ringworm, which has since been treated and cleared, but it's kept them waiting for a long time to become available for adoption.
