Mama

To meet Mama contact Ashley: [email protected] or or 309.236.9920 Mama is an adorable 1.5 year old petite White/Gray Cat with a gray ‘zorro’ mask over her white face, white body with gray patches on her back that look like little wings, and a gray tail. She has lovely green eyes, a pink and black nose and lots of white whiskers. Mama was found wandering a neighborhood and although she is tame, she was living in a colony. She loves face rubs and will push her head into your hand to give you the sign that it’s "petting time." Mama is quick to purr and likes her lower back scratched. She is very vocal especially when she is receiving a body massage, and she will make muffins when you talk with her. Although Mama has been fending for herself, she is very chill and gentle. Her hobbies are teaser toys and balls to chase. Mama is learning how to get picked up and held, and will allow briefly but might be vocal as in, "put me down please.’" She will do best in a home without small children, but older children who know how to be with Cats will be OK. We feel strongly that she had a home in the past, as she uses the litter box with no problems and knows how to play with toys and use a cardboard Cat scratcher like a pro. Mama is happy with human attention in her foster home while she waits for her forever family to come along and adopt her.
