Mam'selle

DOB: 08/14/2022 Mam'selle was found foraging for food with her two young kittens (Marielle/Maxime) when they came upon a kind soul's doorstep. This caring human began feeding this sweet family and eventually convinced them to take refuge in the porch where they could feel safe and loved. Mam'selle has been the purrfect mother to her two sweet kittens. Vocally she is a very quiet kitty. Her foster has never heard any sound from her other than purring. She is cautious but not a fearful cat. She is happy to be picked up and has never put up any resistance when going into the carrier for vet visits. By nature she has a very gentle disposition. We wouldn't consider her shy, but more as reserved. Mam'selle would make a perfect "companion" cat. She would need to be placed in a home with NO children or other pets because she is so extremely reticent and easily imposed upon. Whether playing with toys or during dinner time, Mam'selle would wait patiently for her kittens to have their turn before she would partake. She would do best in an environment where she is not competing with anyone for the attention that she so desperately deserves Her foster has been working with her and she is learning how to play with a variety of toys. She has also over time come to enjoy "Chinners" (chin scratches), "Scrunches" (ear massage), head rubs, gentle petting and softly spoken affirmations of what a good girl she is. She gives her foster head bumps and has always pressed close to their legs whenever she passes by and of late she has started sitting in their lap if only briefly. We feel that given a good quiet environment she would blossom. She just needs love, a little patience and a bit more love. She has taken phenomenal care of her little ones, has been perfect in her litter box usage, and she has looks to spare. Her pastimes include bird watching, squirrel gazing and sun bathing. She's a sweetie. All that she needs is a patient home with lots of love to give. Could that be you?
