They arrived at their foster home very shy and skittish but quickly adapted and have shown what sweet girls they are. They both love lots of pets and attention from their foster mom. They are both lap cats and love to snuggle and are great at giving lots of kitty kisses! Neither one has shown any aggression and do not nip, scratch or bite. They will throw themselves belly up for pets and it's NOT a trap. They love playing with their toys, playing hide and seek in the tunnel, and keeping watch out the back door for birds and squirrels. Bald Eagle loves her fuzzy balls and will chase and bat them throughout the house while Mallard is a big fan of her wand toys. While they love interactive playtime with their human, they are also very self-sufficient and can easily entertain themselves. They are very well behaved and have been excellent house guests. They have no issues using their cat boxes and very much enjoy their food and treats. They both have the cutest little meows and love to carry on entire conversations with their human. Although still initially timid with new people, they have made quite a bit of progress and have allowed some strangers to interact with them. It just takes time and trust. They have not had any interaction with other cats or dogs while in foster care and I believe they would be best just the two of them in a home.
