Meet Mako. This sweet one year old found her way to rescue during a scorching heat wave in South Oakland, begging to be let inside.
Mako adores people and craves attention, although she's still mastering the art of sitting on laps and playing with toys like a typical cat. When you approach Mako, she'll greet you with gentle meows and slowly wag her tail as you stroke her head, reveling in the affection until she's thoroughly content. Afterward, she'll gracefully ascend to a high perch, watching you closely until she decides it's time for another round of cuddles. Mako would prefer to be the queen of her domain and would do her best as a single cat.
Mako is about 1 year old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative. She is available at the Waterfront (Homestead) Petco Adoption Center.
