Maizie

This beautiful, fluffy kitten is Maizie (Maize is a type of Mexican corn.) Her mother came to us from a hoarding situation and was heavily pregnant when she was rescued. Her babies were born in foster care and grew up around a large number of other cats. The babies are now ready for adoption and are looking for homes with other kitties that they can become friends with. Maizie is one of the more confident kittens in her litter. She is playful and likes to hang out with her siblings, as well as play with toys. She is interactive and always seems to be out and about. Maizie has grown up around lots of other felines, so will do best in a home with other cats who might want to play with her. Maizie would prefer a home without children. While she doesn’t have much experience with dogs, Maizie’s mother hates dogs and seems to have passed this dislike onto her kittens. Therefore, a dog-free home will be ideal for her. Since she has such a fluffy coat, Maizie’s new family will need to be prepared to groom her regularly to prevent knots and mats.
