Mai Tai or Mai for short, is a kitten we rescued in summer of 2023. She is just under one year old now, although we don't know her exact birthday. She was rescued from a backyard breeding ground in North Bergen, along with many of her siblings. Mai is an extremely friendly, docile, and sweet female. She gets along well with other cats, including her brother, Tiki.
Mai was adopted and returned, or actually, SURRENDERED to the NY ACC, against the terms of our contract, to absolutely no fault of her own. Our amazing foster team trekked into NY to claim her back, and with that, we took her brother Tiki back from the adopter as well.
Now, Mai and Tiki are now looking for their REAL forever home. We would love to see Mai and Tiki adopted together again, but she could be adopted separately to a home that has at least 1 other friendly cat.
