Maggie came to us in February a few days after her lifelong owner died. Used to living with a retired elderly lady, Maggie is not a fan of hustle and bustle, is unsure around men, and startles easily. She enjoys being around people, is sleeping in bed at night with her foster mom, and is friendly but not a lap cat. She has a rattle mouse she loves and will chase the laser dot but vastly prefers sitting in a sunny windowsill and watching the world outside over playing. This past year has been stressful for Maggie as her mom was failing and in hospice care, with lots of strangers coming and going in her home, then losing her mom and home, so it’s easy to understand that she’s a bit discombobulated at present. Despite all this, she has adapted well to her foster home, has excellent litter box habits, is eating well, and is a thoroughly lovely, slightly chunky lady. Given her life up to now, she will do best as an only cat in a home with cat-savvy adults.
Spayed, Vaccinated, Dewormed, Felv/FIV tested negative, and Microchipped.
