MACSWEENY- Neutered Male- Shorthaired White with Grey Bi-Color. Approx: 8-10 years- Here’s what he has to say: “ I was a stray who spent my days wandering, going house to house for some help (and food). Finally, I ended up at a house where the family loves cats (too bad the house was already full of them…)But, at least they cared enough to bring me to the shelter. I have adjusted without any problems (actually, moved in and took over like I owned the place!). Not a lot fazes me, and I have found that it’s easier to just sit back and enjoy life, than to complain and worry. So, life is good, and I hope that it can only get better. I’m getting plenty of attention (for an old guy). I think everyone feels bad for us older cats during the Holidays. We sit back as all the youngsters( yes- pesty, out of control kittens) go to new homes. Everyone wants a cute little ball of fur. Technically, I’m still a ball of fur- just a little bigger, and more mature and wise!! I don’t need a ton of attention, I’m really not too demanding, and I already know the finer points about litter box habits, and self grooming!! And, I’m well past the age of curtain climbing!! So, how about taking in a handsome guy who has a few miles on the old paws, and a few kinks in the whiskers. I’m still good for some attention, and I’m all set for some spoiling! I would love a new family, in time for the New Year. If that doesn’t happen, the at least have a forever home set up for the Super Bowl!!” Love, laid back MacSweeny
