Oh my, MacGyver!! What a LOVE! When you walk in, MacGyver (lovingly also referred to as Mac) will be there to greet you and make sure you receive a warm welcome. He'll usher you in, and then tell you it's time to sit down so he can receive his proper head and chin scratches! He is a VERY sweet boy, affectionate and kind, but he will also need a forever home that understands what a special boy he is... our sweet Mac is absolutely TERRIFIED when picked up. We don't know why but can only assume something in his past taught him that being held/picked up/constrained is a very scary thing, so his perfect home will require no young children, so that he can learn to be comfortable and feel safe in his home. His adult people will need to respect his boundaries as well, of course... we don't believe he will grow out of this, so if you need a kitty to pick up and haul around, this sweet boy isn't your perfect match. BUT, if you are happy giving MacGyver time and space, letting this big ol' loaf-of-pumpkin-bread of a kitty decide when HE wants snuggle time... then we'd love to introduce you!! Included with the adoption is Macgyver's neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized.
