My Story

The lynx stands for balance, second sight, honesty, shyness, wisdom, loyalty, comfort, and playfulness. Wait! That’s a heavy load to put on a frightened young kitten! I’m a tortoiseshell female kitten called Lynx who arrived at the shelter from another rescue with my three siblings. The four of us are the “Big Cat” kittens. One of my brothers has been adopted, but my sister Leopard, brother Puma, and I are still waiting for forever homes. I am still skittish around people, but I have been making progress and am starting to come around. If I am approached slowly and cautiously and spoken to gently and softly, I may gradually let down my barriers and begin to trust. It happens. It takes time. I’m young, and I can adapt. I’m a little cat now, but I will be a big cat someday, in every way. I get along well with other cats. I am especially fond of my best friend, Ryla, and It might help me adjust to my new home more quickly if Ryla and I can be adopted together. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
