Sometimes, you may not realize you need a companion. The world is burdensome, the days are long, the nights can be frightening, storms come, and the sun makes us want to retreat indoors to the AC. Just knowing someone relies on you, that someone is waiting for you, that you can make a difference is all you need to get up and take that next, or sometimes that first step. That is Tyler, this lovely little ear-tipped girl cat. Originally, she was supposed to be an outside kitty, she seemed to like that independent life, but she has now taken to the begrudgingly co-existant life. Tyler gets over-stimulated easily, but she desperately wants a connection, just someone nearby, not necessarily touching or loving, just someone to live a quiet life with. Tyler isn't mean, she isn't wild, she is just...her.
I know, Tyler may not seem like the most appealing kitty for everyone, but we firmly believe that there is someone out there for her. Someone that just wants someone. She'll probably come around, and a hard won love like that is an honor most people will never understand. For information on Tyler, or other pets in need of understanding, please call 830-629-5287 or visit HSNBA.orgHSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight.
