Lullaby was born about Nov. 1, 2009. He was abandoned with his 4 littermates Mercedes, Zoe, Chloe and Carlito at the end of April 2010. He is still a bit thin from his ordeal, but eating well and has been checked by our vet who feels he looks pretty good, considering what he has been through! One thing we did notice is that he did not see well and the vet says he has probably been blind from birth. He can see some shadows, but should be considered blind. He does not let this slow him down! He finds his way to the litterbox and bowls just fine. We notice he stays close to Mercedes, so we think he may have followed her to survive in the woods after being abandoned, poor baby! He is temporarily safe now, but needs a special home where he will be a 100% indoor kitty. Lullaby is a very social kitten and loves to sit on your lap, knead and purr. He wants to be with people as much as possible. We are pretty sure he is part Siamese due to his "color point" coloring and beautiful blue eyes! Most adopters wont want a blind kitten, but he is a sweet boy who needs a chance and we think he will make a wonderful pet for a special family, is that you?
