Luke & Lorelai

NOTE: Listing says female. This kitten pair is one female (Lorelai) and one male (Luke). REQUIRED: MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MINUTE DRIVE OF FOSTER HOME (Central West End, St. Louis). This is because we will need to complete a home visit and do not have the resources to go outside of this range. ALL CURRENT PETS MUST BE UP TO DATE ON ALL VACCINES AND VET CARE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. **VET REFERENCE REQUIRED.** Meet Luke and Lorelai! Lorelai is the white/brown kitty, and Lukey is the black kitty. This angelic pair was rescued from a stray cat situation after having been born outdoors. We believe both kittens are approximately 14-15 months old. We don't know their full background, only that someone took them off of the streets and placed them in a crate in a garage for an unknown amount of time. These sweet babies were covered in fleas and not doing well at all. But since rescue, both Luke and Lorelai have been thriving and are now feeling a whole lot better! They both are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and healthy, happy kitties! Lukey bear can be a shy guy, but is oh so sweet! Once we gets to know and trust you, he will start to come out and about and ask for pets. He's one of those kitties who is always watching his surroundings, but has started coming out of his shell with time and love, and that's so rewarding for us to see! When his foster mom holds Luke, he lets her flip him over to pet his belly and will start to purr. Then he'll tuck his face into her arm. He is an incredibly sweet boy, and he just needs time, patience, and love to really thrive! He's actually decided recently he likes both other cats AND dogs and would do just fine in a home with respectful pups. He also loves his Lorelai very much... Lorelai is truly the sweetest cat probably to ever exist. You'd never know she lived on the streets. She comes right up to any and every human who is willing to give her attention! She has no fear, and when she arrived in her foster home went right up to the 80 lbs dog in the house to rub up against the dog and ask for love. She is amazing with all people (including kids), dogs, and other cats. She purrs constantly, will flip right over to share her tummy with you, and would be perfect for someone who works from home and wants constant company! She is an absolute angel child who just wants to be loved and explore. While we think Lorelai would be fine going to a home without Luke, we feel like Luke needs his Lorelai. He loves her so much, and when these two arrived at their foster home and the other kitty there wasn't being very accepting, Luke tried to protect his girl Lorelai. She gives him a confidence boost that he struggles with on his own, and she's so friendly that we think she shows him how to be a loved family kitty. Both cats love playing with a fishpole toy and toys in general! Luke can keep himself entertained for hours with a single toy. Whoever adopts these two angels will be SO lucky! They are a once in a lifetime kinda love story.
