He was sadly relinquished to our rescue after his owner was moved to a memory care facility. Luke was very stressed in our busy rescue environment and was not comfortable with attention from people he did not know. He definitely did not like being contained in his kitty tower and would hiss and act out. We placed him in one of our loving foster homes and we are so excited about how he has progressed! According to his foster, Luke is a good boy. Once he was out of a cage, he was a different cat! He warmed up quickly and likes to hang out where everyone is. He enjoys pets and attention. He is playful and gets along with other cats in the home. Luke seems to prefer female cats more. He is not a big fan of the dog but has learned to co-exist comfortably. If someone is willing to give this handsome and lovable boy a little time to warm up to a new home, they will be rewarded with a friend for life! All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat.
