Lucy came to the rescue as a special needs girl who is in need of an extra special foster/forever home. Lucy was born with “Swimmer’s Syndrome”.
Swimmer syndrome is a rare congenital condition in kittens that causes their legs to splay out to the side, resembling a frog's legs or a swimmer's pose.
This condition can be reversed in the right home with the right resources. Lucy needs someone to do at home physical therapy with her to build strength in her back legs. These can be short sessions 3-4 times daily. She is very quiet and playful, and deserves the best chances in life. She is such a special sweet girl and this task can be so rewarding. Her foster parents will watch her transform before their eyes and set her up for the best life possible!
