Lucy

Hi friends, my name is Lucy. The big orange floofball next to me is my furbrother, Paul. We are at MHS because our elderly owners, who loved us very much, became ill and could no longer care for us. I'm the pretty kitty girl hiding underneath my big brother's super fluffy tail because that is just where I feel safest...wherever he is. Would you adopt us together? I'm wishing on the brightest star that you can come to adopt us quickly because I am so scared here. The humans will find me just shaking in my kennel sometimes and it breaks their hearts. I know that they do everything they can to make me feel safe but a home environment is where I belong. We have lived in a quiet, calm environment my whole life. Commotion and craziness are not settings where I feel happy in, so if you are looking for two quiet best friends, Paul and I would love to be considered. Paul is a bit more outgoing than I am. When you come to our kennel, he will greet you and will actually demand pets and love from you. He has a very large head and will nudge your hand to let you know that you haven't petted him enough. We've lived with other furry friends before and we thought they were great. They were gentle and respectful of us. I think older children who can be easy-going and mellow around us will be alright. Otherwise, we have only lived with adults and that sounds perfect, too. Yes, I am a shy girl but once you start petting me, I love the affection. We both do! Chin scratches will even get me to close my eyes and relax; which is a big deal for me! We are about seven and a half years old and are spayed/neutered.
