Lovey is a very independent and sweet girl. She will sit near you and request pets on her terms. She doesn't enjoy being picked up and she is not a fan of other cats. She has grown a tolerance of our black lab. We are unsure of her life story, she came into the rescue from Montreal in Aug 2022 from a kill shelter. She was found abandoned. It appears her underbelly was repeatedly shaved or she had removed all the fur from it at a prior point. There have been no skin reactions or conditions since she has been in our care. She enjoys a good sleep in the laundry basket and is an excellent litter Box user.
