Hi everyone, I’m Loki. I am a sweet boy who has learned how to be a cat!
I used to live in a home. Somehow I got lost for about a year, but finally found my way back. When I came back home, things were a little different. My original parents were not able to keep me because there was another cat in the household and although I tried, he and I just weren't able to become friends.
So it was decided that I should find another home. It was said that I wasn’t good with other cats, but that's not true. I love other cats especially youngsters. Even though I was once a big tom cat, I am actually a big softie and don’t love any conflict. If another cat is a bully, I hide away rather then defend myself. But I really love to look after the baby ones who need a big brother.
I have been staying at a place where I have been housed with a lot of really friendly cats including some other big tom cats and I just love them! After all the time on my own, I had to learn how to be a cat and live inside. I am still shy, but I am coming along. I am trying really hard and even though I might look nervous, I love lots of pets and treats are the best (especially those yummy squeeze treats). If you really want to open up my heart....wet food. I bounce out of any hiding space I may be in as soon as I hear that a can is being opened.
I think I could do fine in a home with older kids or very cat savvy kids that understand boundaries. There are some young children in my foster home who know to respect my boundaries and due to that I have shown some interest in them. Do you think your home sounds great for me?
