My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is located at our same-day adoption center partner, St. Louis Park PetSmart. Please contact this location prior to visiting to ensure this animal is still available. A paper adoption application will be completed on site so please do not submit an online adoption application. For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page. Named for one of the top English Premier League soccer teams, Liverpool also enjoys chasing a ball or playing with her siblings, running, climbing and jumping. Liverpool is easy going and will curl up with another kitten, or in a lap, after a full schedule of play. A little shyer than her siblings, Liverpool does like a spot where she can hide away but she quickly returns to the fray if there is something fun on offer she can join in with as he never hides in a place where she can't see what is going on! She is so fluffy and cute! Although she may not be the first to arrive for attention, Liverpool is happy to be handled or petted and may settle in for a cuddle with her humans at the end of the day. Liverpool is from a stray surrender with 5 siblings. To learn more about Ruff Start's adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
