An animal lover with a local police department reached out to us about a tiny little kitten that had been trapped in a wood pile crying in distress. They quickly noticed that she could not use one of her back legs. We rushed her to one of our vets and after doing x-rays, found that her leg was not broken but are are not sure what is causing the injury. They quickly noticed that she could not use one of her back legs. We rushed her to one of our vets and after doing x-rays, found that her leg was not broken but are are not sure what is causing the injury. We are hoping next week is our last medical progress exam because she is walking normally on her leg about 75% of the time. She has been moving around and plays with toys despite her injuring and does tend to drag the back leg some. She is a spunky, go getter and cuddly kitten who does not let her disability keep her from being a normal energic kitten! Littler Flutter is not available for adoption at the moment until we have a further understanding of her leg impairment. We hope that by Mid September 2024 she will be fully recovered and spayed/vaccinated to go into a forever home.
