You can save animals like Lindy by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click

Lindy just arrived from a shelter in North Carolina at the beginning of December 2009. She is a very petite declawed kitty...with a big heart! Lindy is a cute calico with large colored spots. Lindy is a sweet girl who would do well in a home that could give her lots of love. We don't think she's lived with cats and dogs in her original home. However, she is currently being fostered with a dog and is doing just fine with him--she pretty much ignores him and goes about her business. Lindy is a vocal kitty--she loves to chat with you and tell you about her day! She is fixed and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
